Kerry Katona: 'Rehab is Like Butlins'

Kerry Katona says a stint at prestigious rehab clinic The Priory is "like taking a trip to Butlins".

The former Atomic Kitten singer is a regular at the celebrity addiction center and checked in for a week while heavily pregnant in March after suffering with "depression".

In a new one-off special for MTV UK -- called Kerry Katona: The After Birth -- Kerry -- who was diagnosed with bipolar disorder four years ago -- tells viewers she goes to The Priory to "recharge".

She explains, "It had nothing to do with drink or drugs.

"It's like a holiday camp at The Priory, it's like going to Butlins for the weekend.

"People think The Priory is just about drink and drugs but they have people with different illnesses there. I was the only celebrity."

The show also sees Kerry, 27, insist her ex-drug dealer husband Mark Croft, 37, has never cheated on her -- and claims she would stake her four children's lives on his fidelity.

"Why would he go out for a burger when he’s got steak at home?" she exclaimed.

Kerry wants to do another series of her MTV flop and plans to have plastic surgery.

She added: "I'm going to get a brand new body, I hate going to the gym to do it. I'm going to have liposuction."

The show airs on July 27 at 9pm.
