Cheryl Cole Plays Matchmaker to Simon Cowell

Cheryl Cole has been playing matchmaker to her fellow X Factor judge Simon Cowell.

Girls Aloud star Cole is determined to find Cowell - who recently split from long term love Terri Seymour - a new girlfriend, and is reportedly trying to set the millionaire up with one of her friends.

A source tells Britain's News of The World newspaper, "Cheryl has made it her mission to tease Simon. It's a big joke on set and she's been ribbing him about finding a new girl.

"Cheryl's been playing lots of pranks — someone even left a blow-up doll in his dressing room, but we're not sure it was her.

"He's taking it all as good fun though."
