Beckham denies Hollywood dreams

Soccer superstar David Beckham has dismissed reports he plans to pursue a career in acting when he moves to Los Angeles later this year.

Beckham and his wife Victoria are moving to the US after he signed a contract to play with soccer team LA Galaxy.

But the sporting ace has no intention of breaking into the movies.

He says, "I've heard the one that I'm going to be an actor. But I looked a bit stiff in Goal! I must admit.

"Acting isn't for me - I can't act. Goal! was as much as I can do. At least it was about football though, and I'm not bad at doing that."
