Phil Spector trial begins tomorrow

Four men and two women were seated today as alternate jurors for music producer Phil Spector's trial on a charge of murdering actress Lana Clarkson in southern California.

Spector, who's famous for his 1960s "Wall of Sound" recording technique, stands accused of murdering Clarkson on February 3, 2003. She was found shot through the mouth in the foyer of his suburban home.

Clarkson,who is best known for the Roger Corman's 1980s cult classic "Barbarian Queen," had gone home with Spector from her job as a nightclub hostess.

Superior Court Judge Larry Paul Fidler scheduled opening statements in the trial to begin tomorrow.

Alternate jurors would move into regular jurors' seats if any have to leave for some reason.

The regular jury, which was chosen earlier, has nine men and three women.
