Mick Jagger obsessed with UFOs after his flying saucer encounter?.
Sir Mick Jagger is a secret UFO enthusiast after spotting a flying saucer during a 1968 camping trip, according to a new book.
Author Michael C. Luckman claims the incident led Jagger to develop a life-long passion for UFOs in his book Alien Rock: The Rock 'n' Roll Extraterrestrial Connection.
Luckman says, "Jagger has been very involved with the subject of UFOs for many years. In 1968 he went camping in Glastonbury with his then girlfriend, singer Marianne Faithful, and encountered a rare, luminous cigar-shaped mother ship.
"Around the same time Mick had a Ufo detector installed at his British estate. The alarm kept on going off whenever he left home, indicating the presence of strong electromagnetic activity in the immediate area."
Luckman's book, which was first published in 2005, features Ufo stories about stars like Michael Jackson, John Lennon and Elvis Presley.

Why does anyone need to keep this interest a secret? Collect data and present the facts as best you can. Then decide for yourself if we are being visited.
If we are being visited which I do not find that far fetched, big deal. These other beings if they thought we were ready would contact us; but either they are not visiting or they do not believe we are ready. Either way I am sure if they are not there, it doesn't matter and if they are there; they are probably right and we are not ready.
In either case its still a pretty interesting subject.

What is the fascination with UFO's? I have seen many of them. People wrongly conclude you are talking about aliens from other planets and such nonsense when all you are stating is you saw something in the sky but don't know what it was. I truly wish people would stop being so simple.

Why are people so ignorant, and assume you are on drugs or booze when you report a UFO. We are not automaticly saying there are aliens out there. We are just saying we saw something we don't understand. It is unidentifyable.. meaning we don't know what it is! look it up ! Thats what UFO means, a flying object that can't be identified!
