The Beckham's and The Cruise's to be neighbours?

David and Victoria Beckham are set to move into a $30 million mansion near Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.

David and Victoria Beckham are moving to the US in the summer after the soccer star signed a deal with football team Los Angeles Galaxy - and are said to be keen on the seven-bedroom Beverly Hills property because of its secluded location.

A source said: "It's been a long process trying to find the ideal home but this one ticks the most boxes.

"The fact it is so close to Tom and Katie's house is ideal for Victoria."

The mansion boasts a tennis court, home cinema, swimming pool, seven bathrooms, six fountains, two acres of landscaped gardens and a separate guest apartment.

The long drive and secluded grounds offer privacy and security.

Victoria Beckham, and Katie have been firm friends since last year's Paris Fashion Week, and the former Spice Girl attended the actress' marriage to Tom last year.

Neighbours of Tom and Katie confirmed that the Beckham's are have shown an interest in the plush property.

One revealed: "We have heard that the Beckhams have visited the property and put in an offer. They love the home."
