The Phil Spector trial now faces further delays

Troubled Music producer Phil Spector's murder trial faces yet another delay after a row over disclosure of evidence.

The trial had to be put on hold on Monday, because Phil Spector's lawyer Bruce Cutler had to visit a doctor. Witness testimony was expected to resume today, but will be now be postponed until next week.

Meanwhile, the court will sit without a jury as judge Larry Paul Fidler considers motions from prosecutors who have accused Spector's legal team of failing to properly disclose expert evidence.

Prosecutor Alan Jackson claimed evidence from potential defence witness Dr.

Henry Lee - who appeared on a US television show last week, where he discussed the case - was made unavailable to prosecutors.

Spector is accused of the fatal shooting of actress Lana Clarkson, who was found slumped in the foyer of his Los Angeles home in February 2003. He has pleaded not guilty and claims Clarkson committed suicide.
