Justin Timberlake offers his support to Britney

Justin Timberlake and singer Pink are among the supestars who've secretly been reaching out to show their support to Britney Spears as the pop singer battles substance abuse in rehab.

Friends claim Justin left a personal message for his ex-girlfriend after calling the Promises treatment centre in Malibu, California last week.

A pal tells America's Life & Style magazine: "He wished her the best and told her to get healthy and come back as the Britney he knew."

And Timberlake has asked Spears' mother Lynn to keep him updated with the Toxic singer's progress.

Pink and Mary J. Blige have also called Promises to leave messages for Spears, who, under the centre's rules, is not allowed to receive phonecalls during her stay.

I think Justin knows what is cousing the breakdown but I don't like the way he is hinding himself with the crowd. The girl gave him everything including her diginity, thr Spears is getting beating on the daily basis for the break up. If Justin was good boy friend I don't think Britney would such a thing, how would we know if he didn't cheat first! In one of his song he said why did you copy me! He is not being sweet, he is a bity boy who needs a lit of care himself

I wouldn't spend so much time worrying about Britney, she made her own choices and has to sort out her demons on her own too.

Support is good, but sometimes the people who love us most hinder us more then help. Just a thought.

Incidentally, have you any idea how irritating it is trying to read some of these comments? It's like deciphering a code!! Lol.
