Paris Hilton Sentenced to prison

May 5 2007

Paris HiltonIn what will certainly not be as accommodating as the hotels she is destined to inherit, Paris Hilton will be spending 45 days in prison for violating her probation.

Hilton will have an opportunity to bond with the several other women when she reports to prison on June 5 in Lynwood, California. The 26-year-old celebutante had been arrested on Sept. 7 for reckless driving and driving while intoxicated. She was then pulled over on Jan. 15 and informed that she was driving on a suspended license and she was not to drive anymore.

Undeterred, Hilton continued driving and was pulled over a little more than a month later for speeding down Sunset Boulevard without her lights on.

Before Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled Hilton had an opportunity to address the judge saying, “I'm very sorry and from now on I'm going to pay complete attention to everything. I'm sorry and I did not do it on purpose all.”

Sauer took the prosecutions advice and sentenced Paris to 45 days.
