Christina Ricci: "Justin Timberlake is goofy"

Actress Christina Ricci has revealed Justin Timberlake was "silly and goofy" on the set of their new film.

The 27-year-old actress stars with the singer in the new film 'Black Snake Moan', and admits that he was great fun to work with and a very impressive actor, at least for a beginner.

Ricci said: "I thought he was great. Justin is so much fun to be around. He's really silly and goofy, and we had a great time on set."

She adds: "I was really, really impressed with his acting. He was great. He really connects with other actors in the scenes and he could do a lot of things that took me years to learn how to do."

The movie also stars the legend that is: Samuel L. Jackson with whom Christina formed an immediate bond.

She said: "It was pretty immediate. Once rehearsals started we realised we were going to work really well together.

"I was so flattered by that because I've admired him for so long. It's rare to have a partner like that in those scenes where you can just lose yourself, because you know you're in someone's hands who cares about you and will take care of you."
