Extreme Makeover's Ty Pennington arrested

Ty Pennington, star of the hit ABC feel good show “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” was arrested in Los Angeles over the weekend and charged with driving under the influence.

According to police reports the 42-year-old host was stopped shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Saturday and was booked on a misdemeanor charge of suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

The former model turned carpenter turned Sears spokesman was released after posting $5,000 bail. No court date has been released.
