Pint-sized pop princess, Kylie Minogue has confirmed the rumours that she will appear on cult British sci-fi show "Doctor Who"

The "I should be so lucky" singer, who shot to fame acting on the Australian hit soap Neighbours, is said to be ecstatic about her upcoming role but dismisses reports her part will be a dark one.

Kylie, 38, says, "Yes...my gay husband (stylist, William Baker) is so excited about it! But I'm not going to play a villain." It is believed Minogue will be written into a Christmas episode, scheduled for this year.
