American Idol’s LogoJordin Sparks, Blake Lewis and Melinda Doolittle, the Stars of hit Reality TV show "American Idol", each had the opportunity to spend a whole day back home and regroup for their final push for the ultimate prize, the title of ‘American Idol’ champ.

Jordin Sparks went back home to Glendale, Arizona on Friday, where she performed a three-song set for the large crowd who came out to support their local ‘Idol.’ 17-year-old Sparks has received huge support from her community, a community that regularly organizes outdoor viewings of each week’s two episodes to cheer on their ‘American Idol’ rep.

Blake Lewis took to the stage in Seattle and set the crowd into a frenzy when he was joined by Sir Mix-A-Lot who sang “Baby Got Back” while Lewis was beat-boxing. The 25-year-old ‘Idol’ also sang the national anthem at the Seattle Mariners-New York Yankees game.

And as for Melinda Doolittle, Friday was spent back on campus at her alma mater Belmont University in Tennessee. The 29-year-old backup singer has made the most of her ‘Idol’ journey and become the favorite to win the competition. That fact wasn’t lost on fans as they came out to hear her sing her three-song set. Belmont University showed their support for their famous alum by naming a street after their favorite ‘Idol,’ Melinda Doolittle Way.

Clips of the three remaining contestants will air on Tuesday night’s episode of ‘American Idol’ as the competition winds down. Wednesday will reveal who will make it to the final two before the ‘Idol’ champ is crowned the following week.
