Madonna to direct a film

Pop superstar Madonna has confirmed that she will make her directorial debut with a short film.

The "Like a virgin" singer, will be following in the footsteps of her filmmaker husband Guy Ritchie, and will begin shooting the low-budget comedy film "Filth And Wisdom" in London later this month.

The movie is based in Madonna's own life experiences.

She says, "I am happy to confirm I am working hard on a new project, directing my first short movie.
"While I cannot tell you more about it for now, I am happy to officially reveal its title: Filth And Wisdom.
"I will finish this in time to go back to the recording studio in July. I hate to be such a tease, but you know how I am."

Her husband, Guy Richie is also set to direct a low budget film titled: "Rock 'n Rolla"
