Paris' Mother urges youths to learn from her daughters mistakes

The Mother of troubled socialite Paris Hilton, has said that she wants fans of her daughter to learn from the 45 day jail sentence handed to her for violating her probation order, by driving with a suspended license earlier this month.

In a statement read out by family friend and TV anchor Barbara Walters on US morning chat show "The View", Kathy Hilton expressed her wish for something good to come from her daughter's predicament.

Her statement, read by the veteran host, said: "We can only hope that something positive will come from this. Hopefully, young people who look up to people like Paris will learn from this."
