Paris to serve jail term in isolation
It has been confirmed that Hotel Heiress Paris Hilton will serve her upcoming jail time separate from the "normal" inmate population, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department has confirmed.

Hilton received a 45 day jail sentenced for violating her probation by driving with a suspended license earlier this month, but has since been told she'll only serve a minimum of 23 days.

Officials have decided to house the 26-year-old celebrity in a "special needs housing unit" reserved for police officers, public officials, stars and other high-profile inmates.

A spokesman for the Sheriff's Department, Steve Whitmore has warned news agencies against trying to infiltrate the jail to gain unauthorised pictures of Hilton.

He says, "This is not an e-ticket ride at Disneyland. This is a serious matter. Anyone who takes advantage of this situation will face appropriate consequences." Hilton is currently in the process of appealing her jail sentence, which she must begin serving by 5th June.
