Amy Winehouse now married
Singer Amy Winehouse has married her fiance Blake Fielder-Civil in a secret ceremony on Miami Beach.
The 'Back to Black" singer had previously laughed off reports that she would be exchanging vows this weekend in a UK newspaper yesterday - but it appears the tabloid was right all along.
Amy Winehouse's representative has confirmed the singer is now Mrs. Fielder-Civil, she said: "Amy Winehouse did get married to fiance Blake Fielder-Civil this morning in a very private, intimate ceremony. They are very happy."
The 23-year-old singer and her new husband celebrated their union at Miami's exclusive Shore Club.
The couple became engaged only last month, after Winehouse took a day to consider her boyfriend's proposal.
In a recent interview she said, "Obviously we are both young and it is frightening. But it is the right thing to do. That is why I agreed.
"I'm a very lucky girl to have found someone I love so much. I hope to be with him for the rest of my life." The couple met in 2005, but split in 2006.
