Simon Cowell planning Michael Jackson tribute?

American Idol judge Simon Cowell is reportedly planning to give troubled "king of pop" Michael Jackson a massive career boost by creating a huge tribute show based on the pop superstar's multi-million selling album Thriller.

The English music mogul is secretly working on a project to honor the 25th anniversary of the classic album in 2008.

Cowell said:

"We're planning something with the record label, maybe for Thriller, but we'll see what happens - a big, big tribute
