Michael Jackson buys Eminem's back catalog
The 'King of Pop', Michael Jackson has, reportedly purchased the publishing rights to Eminem's back catalog.
Jackson, who also currently owns The Beatles copyright, has purchased Famous Music LLC from Viacom for an undisclosed amount.
Michael is now the proud owner of "The Real Slim Shady" and "Without Me" but also owns the rights to songs by Shakira, Beck and Bjork under the transaction.
Jacko said: "This is a milestone event for Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
The diverse collection of songs in this catalogue range from timeless classics to contemporary hits, and I am pleased to add the acquisition of Famous Music to Sony/ ATV." Eminem parodied Jackson in his video for 2002 hit Without Me.
