Paris Hilton freed from jail

June 7 2007

Hotel Heiress Paris Hilton has been released from prison in Los Angeles after serving just three days of her 23-day sentence for a probation violation, it was reported today.

TMZ had learned that Paris Hilton has not only had her sentence cut short, she was already out of jail.

"Unimpeachable sources tell TMZ the deal was sealed yesterday, and that Hilton made her exit early this morning," said TMZ.

She was originally sentenced to 45 days in jail, but that was reduced to 23. She served a total of three days.

The LA County Sheriff's Department is to hold a news conference later today, the website said.

The 26-year-old Hilton checked into the Century Regional Detention Facility in suburban Los Angeles just after 11.30pm local time on Sunday to serve 23 days for violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case.

Hilton surrendered after a surprise appearance earlier that day at the MTV Movie Awards, where she worked the red carpet in a strapless designer gown.

That's... just...

That's... just... crazysh!t.

I thought that finally she'd be in a place where her whinging, whining and lying wouldn't get her anywhere. I thought that she would find out what it's like to be treated like a responsible adult. I even thought she might do just a little bit of thinking in there before she came out.

I guess I was foolish to hope for too much.

Now watch as her fans find some twisted psychology to justify her getting out of jail free by throwing a sulky tantrum.

If I went to jail for not paying parking fines, could I get out if I complained about the colour of the walls upsetting my retinas?
