Madonna buys a sixth London home

Pop superstar Madonna has just shelled out a whopping $12 million for her sixth home in London.

The 10-bedroom townhouse sits next door to the family's eight-bedroom home in the plush Marylebone area of the British capital.

The Like A Virgin hitmaker and her film director husband Guy Ritchie (Of Lock stock fame) also own two nearby properties for their staff, and two more houses in central London.

The couple paid almost twice the amount its former owner, designer/developer Paul Davies, paid in August of last year (06).
