Victoria Beckham: "Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Never Discuss Scientology"

Victoria Beckham sat down with NBC’s Today show host Matt Lauer recently and tried to clear the air about various rumors surrounding her Hollywood star friends - Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and their involvement in Scientology.

Victoria Beckham, who's due to reunite with The Spice Girls later this year, revealed to Lauer that both Cruise and Holmes have been instrumental in making her transition from England to the U.S. a smooth process and called the married couple “genuinely lovely people.”

Lauer, who was involved in a now famous spat with Cruise over psychology and anti depressants, pressed Victoria Beckham about the topic of Scientology and whether or not the issue ever arose when around Cruise and Holmes. Beckham, who is married to soccer legend David Beckham, insisted to Lauer “They do their thing. We do our thing.”

While Victoria and David Beckham haven’t officially moved to the States just yet, that’s to happen some time next month, they have relied heavily on Cruise and Holmes for housing and shopping advice.

The Lauer interview with Beckham is set to air this Thursday on NBC.
