The Spice Girls plan reunion tattoos

The Spice Girls are reportedly getting matching tattoos to celebrate their reunion.

The Spice Girls, consisting of: Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell - all want to get identical designs as a symbol of how much they mean to one another.

Victoria, who already has several pieces of body art, is said to have asked renowned tattooist Louis Molloy to come up with some designs.

Louis - who designed many of Victoria's husband David's tattoos - has been told to create a circle comprising of the girls' names to symbolize their complete journey together as friends.

A source said: "The girls are all really keen to mark the momentous occasion, the only slight problem is that Mel C had sworn she would never have another tattoo. She's waiting to check out the final design before she decides.

"Emma will wait until she's given birth and is feeling up to the ordeal but they want to do it en masse anyway."

Victoria is so keen for the girls to have the matching etchings she is planning a party to celebrate the momentous occasion.

The source added: "Victoria sees the tattoos as powerful reminders. When it happens she will throw a huge party. They'll be pampered to death."

Last month, the band announced they were reforming with an 11-date world tour starting in Los Angeles in December this year.
