Britney Spears buys a dog and calls it "London"

Britney Spears, who's currently set on 'self-destruct mode' Britney Spears, bought a pooch into her life this Saturday, after purchasing a dog at the upmarket "Pets of Bel Air" pet store on Saturday.

The ever-troubled singer walked into the store and immediately asked to hold a Yorkie, and within minutes she shelled out the $3,000 asking price for the miniature pooch. Britney then dubbed the four-legged puppy “London” and carried the animal out in her hands.

Spears may be trying to hone her skills as a responsible parent as claims have surfaced that she is an unfit mother for her two sons and could be facing a battle with the Department of Child Services.

And no doubt she'll be getting a visit from the ASPCA very shortly. Poor dog.
