Lindsay Lohan faces upto 6 years in jail

The ever-troubled actress Lindsay Lohan could face up to 6 years in prison for hersecond DUI arrest yesterday. The actress was involved in a car chase. Police believe she was chasing her assistant when they pulled her over. The Mean Girls star was given a sobriety test, and failed. Police conducted a search and found cocaine in her pocket.

21-year-old Lohan has denied that she did drugs and claims that she's innocent. Yes. I am innocent; did not do drugs, they're not mine. I was almost hit by my assistant Tarina's mom. I appreciate everyone giving me my privacy, Lohan said in a statement released yesterday.

Sources close to Lindsay say they think she will have a harder time serving time in jail than Paris Hilton did. The sources revel that Lohan hates being alone and can't do the jail time.

Lindsay's mother, Dina Lohan, says her daughter is in a safe place but did not say exactly where. As for Lindsay's father, he says he is heartbroken and is trying to get permission from his probation officer to go see Lindsay.
