Michael Lohan told to stay away from Lindsay

The estranged father of troubled actress Lindsay Lohan has been told to stay away from his daughter - or risk violating the terms of his parole.

Michael Lohan, who, only recently was released from a two-year prison sentence, has halted his custody battle with his estranged wife in an effort to help his 21-year-old daughter, who was arrested for DUI and for being in possession of cocaine yesterday morning.

But Michael Lohn is prohibited from getting in contact with the Mean Girls star or her lawyer, Blair Berk, after the latter made an official complaint about Michael's "repeated, un-reciprocated" attempts to get in touch last month.

And a police source claims Lindsay's Dad will be in violation of an order issued by the New York State Division of Parole, Central Long Island Bureau if he tries to get close to the young actress, reports TMZ.com.
