Tom Cruise bans people from theater
Eccentric actor Tom Cruise reportedly caused quite a stir when he went to watch a movie in Colorado this past week - by insisting he had the entire theater to himself.
The 'Top Gun' star owns a house in the town - and is so determined to have the theater to himself when he watches a movie - he is willing to rent the whole building for a day.
Colorado's residents were not happy with Cruise's demands. "It's the only cinema in town," said one local. "It's particularly crazy as he can get hold of any film he likes and watch it alone at home."
Cruise is currently filming his controversial new film, Valkyrie, which is based on the true story of Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg's attempt to kill Adolf Hitler. The movie, which is being filmed in Germany was banned from filming on any military sites because of his belief in Scientology. German officials believe Cruise is using the film as propaganda for Scientology, which they call a cult.
