Britney Spears sells former marital home

Troubled popstar Britney Spears has sold hers and Kevin Federline's former marital home in Malibu, California.

Britney managed to sell the seven-bedroom property to an anonymous buyer for $12 million.

Britney put the mansion on the market in November 2006 for $13.5 million, but cut the price in March this year.

Spears' other California mansion, a six-bedroom house in Beverly Hills, remains on the market for just under $7.5 million, according to Life & Style magazine.

As she attempts to sell the second home, Spears has reportedly moved herself, her two sons and her entourage into the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.
