Mel B claims her baby with Eddie Murphy was "planned"

British singer Mel B has hit back at reports that her new baby was an accident, by revealing she and ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy had discussed starting a family together.

The 'Spice Girls' singer is currently battling with Eddie over paternity and admits she's horrified by rumors her four-month-old daughter was a mistake.

Mel has insisted that the pregnancy was "completely planned", adding, "This wasn't some random, 'Oops, I fell over and I'm pregnant!' I don't live my life like that." The pop star also dismissed reports that she was dumped by Murphy in favor of his new fiance Tracey Edmonds, insisting she ended the relationship.

She adds, "Certain things went on in his house... that I wasn't prepared to be a part of."
