Popstar Michael Jackson has licensed the use of Beatles song 'All you need is love' for a series of TV commercials for a diaper company.

Michael Jackson still owns stake in the music publishing company Sony/ATV, which owns the rights to the Beatles' lucrative back catalog.

But the company's decision to license 'All You Need Is Love' to pharmaceutical and cosmetics firm Proctor & Gamble is a "surprise" to John Lennon's widow Yoko Ono, because they had always given her advance notice of their intentions in the past.

The song will appear in adverts for the Luvs branded diapers, according to the New York Daily News.

Why doesn't Sony get any of

Why doesn't Sony get any of the so-called 'blame'? Jackson can't make the decision on his own. I luv (pun-intended) how the media blames this on Jackson after repeatedly claiming he's about to lose his half of the catalogue anyway.

i havnt heard this anywhere

i havnt heard this anywhere else yet...??
but i surely hope mj didnt and that he has learnt from past mistakes!!!!!!

More "Michael Jackson is

More "Michael Jackson is evil" Propaganda. You said yourself that Sony/ATV owns the Beatles catalogue...but of course Michael Jackson will get the blame for this one. Evil Michael Jackson. ha.
