Amy Winehouse Exclusive - Rehab star set for Simpsons

Amy Winehouse is to guest star in a new episode of The Simpsons. She is apparently delighted, and accepted with open arms the invitation to be in the hit animated series by Matt Groening.

A show insider said: "Amy is huge in America right now. She was asked if she would consider making an appearance on the show and she agreed. Apparently she is a big fan.

"There aren't many details about the episode yet, but we do know she meets Lisa in a blues bar and teaches her how to sing."

Winehouse is part of a whole closet of stars who have been involved in the animation series, including the ever popular Sir Paul McCartney and The Who.
