Mel B gets married in secret ceremony

Singer Melanie Brown has married her boyfriend Stephen Belafonte in a secret Las Vegas wedding ceremony.

Mel B's spokesperson has confirmed a marriage license filed in Clark County, Nevada, is genuine and that Brown married her music producer beau more than two months ago, on June 6th 2007.

The Spice Girls singer has been dating Stephen Belafonte after her split from ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy last year; and recently confessed she is ready to wed a second time.

Mel said: "He's the love of my life and I am going to marry him."

Brown previously married Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998, before they divorced in 2001. Gulzar is the father of her nine-year-old daughter Phoenix Chi.
