Wrestler Brian Adams Found Dead at Florida home

Wrestler Brian Adams has been found dead at his home in Tampa aged just 43.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ.com, Adams was discovered "by his wife unconscious in bed not breathing"

According to a statement issued by the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), the cause of Adams' passing is currently unknown.

Adams, who was Born in Hawaii was best known as Crush in the wrestling tag team Demolition.

This comes a major blow for professional wrestling as the news comes less than two months after wrestler Chris Benoit asphyxiated his wife Nancy and seven-year-old son Daniel, before hanging himself at the family's home in Georgia.

Adams, who was the World Tag Team champion, retired from wrestling in 2003 due to a spinal injury.

A postmortem is due to take place later to confirm cause of death.
