Eddie Murphy sues Melanie B
Eddie Murphy is fighting back against former girlfriend Melanie Brown by issuing a cease-and-desist order commanding her to stop using his name in interviews.
Murphy and Brown dated last year and the former "Spice Girl" became pregnant with Eddie's child. Before Melanie gave birth to their daughter, Angel Iris, they split. Brown always maintained that the child was Murphy's, and took legal action against him when he wouldn't acknowledge that he was the father.
However, Brown forced him to take a paternity test which then proved Angel Iris was his. She now claims that he hasn't paid her any child support.
Murphy hasn't really said much about the paternity case, but now he is firing back and accusing Brown of disseminating disparaging, negative and defamatory statements. He also claims that Brown demanded he buy her and Angel Iris a $9 million house in Malibu to live in the next 18 years.

What exactly has she said that is wrong and when last did she talk about him? Surely it is only defamation if it isn't true? What has she said that is not true? If Eddie didn't want his dirty laundry washed in public, he should have stepped up and did the right thing from the outset and not waited for her to shame him into doing it. Serves him right if he thinks she made him look bad. In my opinion, he made himself look far, far worse.
Re the extortion - I sincerely hope he can prove that she has demanded this otherwise he could find himself in yet more hot water. This man already desparaged and defamed her by inferring that she slept around and Angel was not his. He has yet to apologise for doing this. He accused Mel of sleeping around publicly, he should be forced to apologise publicly too and if he doesn't, she should drag his no good behind to court.
