Lindsay Lohan may avoid jail time for her DUI and drug charges

Troubled actress Lindsay Lohan may not have to serve time in jail time for her two DUI cases. Lohan, who had two run-ins with the law this year. The first, she crashed into a curb in Beverly Hills and police charged her with a DUI and also found a small amount of cocaine in her car. The second, Lohan was arrested after she chased the mother of her former assistant in an SUV through the streets of Santa Monica.

Police conducted a breath test at the scene, and found that Lohan's blood alcohol level above the legal driving limit. While searching Lohan they found some cocaine in her pocket. Lohan claims she was wearing someone else's pants and the drugs did not belong to her.

Law enforcement officials say that there is a strong possibility Lohan won't face felony charges, the charges maybe considered DUI misdemeanors.

After her last DUI charge Lohan reportedly checked into a rehab facility in Utah where sources say she was very cooperative. Lohan has allegedly been released from the center. Her arraignment is set for Friday.
