Paris Hilton buys private mansion in Beverly Hills

Socialite Paris Hilton has splashed out on a swanky new five-bedroom mansion in Beverly Hills; only eight days after selling her "Spanish Style" Hollywood home for a respectable $4.25 million.

The socialite & hotel heiress said that she wanted to move to a more secluded home, where she can escape the paparazzis prying eyes, and settled on a Mediterranean-style home located in a gated community.

Meanwhile, Paris has just settled defamation lawsuit with diamond heiress Zeta Graff.

During a court hearing in Santa Monica, California this morning, lawyers for the socialites settled the case, although details of the settlement are unknown and the paperwork has yet to arrive at the Superior Court.
