Kanye West and 50 Cent put their feud to bed

August 25 2007

Rappers 50 Cent & Kanye West have now ended their bitter feud - they made their peace over vodka shots at the 40/40 Club in New York earlier this week.

Kanye West and 50 Cent were also joined by Jay-Z, Sean “P Diddy” Combs and T.I.

A witness at the club told newspaper, the New York Post: “They all strolled through the club like the rap Rat Pack. Everyone was going crazy around them.

“Kanye and Fiddy put their differences behind them and had a drink together at the bar.”

Earlier this month, 50 vowed to quit music if Kanye West’s new album, ‘Graduation’, outsold his own album, ‘Curtis’, when they are both released on September 11th.

50 reportedly said: “Let’s raise the stakes. If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer perform music. I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out any more

They would like to see Kanye West give me a problem because I’ve worked myself into a space where I’ve become the favorite. Everybody roots for the underdog when he goes against the favourite.”

When asked about the challenge at the MTV Video Music Award nominations, West said: “What am I going to debate about? I thought it was the stupidest thing. When my album drops and 50’s album drops, you’re going to get a lot of good music at the same time.”
