Keira Knightley hits out at 'knickerless celebrities'

Keira Knightley has publicly criticized celebrities who go out and get drunk without any knickers on.

The 'Bend It Like Beckham' star stressed her concern about this, and said she keeps herself out of the tabloid headlines because she is "mystique" to it, while others just want to be in the news because they don't have anything else good enough to get on the front page.

Knightley told Empire: "With acting the mystique is what's amazing. I love that it's magic, that's the whole point. The whole celebrity thing is not magic.

"They're real people proving they're shitter than everybody else because they don't even wear knickers. I'm not going to get blind drunk and then stumble out and fall over and puke up in front of people. I'm not saying I don't do that on my own in private, but I try not to."

The actress added that Kate Winslet and Cate Blanchett were her two ideal roles models, claiming the pair had acting skills and class, which she admired.
