Nicole Richie to follow in Paris Hilton's footsteps and launch music career

Pregnant socialite Nicole Richie reportedly wants to follow in the footsteps of Paris Hilton, by trying her hand at a musical career. Reports suggest that the former 'Simple Life' star has been working on an album for quite some time.

Richie was spotted going to vocal lessons yesterday and showed off her growing baby bump in a tight black ensemble. Richie and her 'Good Charlotte' rocker boyfriend Joel Madden announce she was pregnant earlier this month. The baby is in winter 07.

The dangerously thin Richie said she has been working on eating more for the health of the baby. She previously had a miscarriage scare after she began spotting blood. Richie was rushed to the hospital where doctors encouraged her to eat more but assured her the baby was fine.
