WWE Wrestlers Suspended After Steroid Investigation

Several professional WWE wrestlers have been suspended by after an investigation revealed the grappler's had connections with Orlando’s Signature Pharmacy, a lab that has been the subject of a lengthy steroids probe.

The WWE followed the information provided by the Albany County New York District Attorney's Office and suspended ten wrestlers for violating the wellness policy. The policy states that wrestlers are subject to drug tests and a first time violation can result in a 30-day suspension, second violation a 60-day suspension and a third violation would result in firing.

Professional wrestling has come under fire recently, after one performer, Chris Benoit, killed his wife and son before taking his own life in June. Investigators in that case determined Benoit had steroids and other drugs in his system at the time of the killings.

WWE has yet to release the names of the suspended wrestlers.
