Shaggy makes political attack on George Bush

September 3 2007

Shaggy has heated up a political feud with George Bush, blaming the US president for going to war with Iraq. With political opinions differed since the Iraq conflict, many celebrities have revealed their anger at the situation, and now it's the 'Mr Boombastic' star's turn.

The singer was reported as saying: "It's rough and I think they should send the boys home. It was stupid first time round and it's stupid the second time."

Criticising the US leader's foreign policy, he added: "History should show you - stay out of the Bushes."

Shaggy, who used to be a US marine, served in the first Gulf War, under George Bush's father's presidency. He commented: "I'm damn lucky I'm not in this one."
