Brad Pitt admits to having a "deep friendship" with ex Jennifer Aniston

Despite Brad Pitt's well document relationship with actress Angelina Jolie,  Pitt says that he and ex-wife, former 'Friends' actress Jennifer Aniston still have a “deep friendship.” When the couple divorced in 2005, rumors were rampant that the cause of their split was Pitt’s relationship with Jolie.

“Jen and I still maintain a deep friendship and have a lot of life together that isn’t erased in any way,” Pitt said. “The most important thing about that time was for Jen and me to figure out if – how do I put it? – if we didn’t want to go on without any outside influence.”

"Is this where we got off? Have we taken this as far as we wanted to? Those questions had to be answered before an attraction for Angie could be answered,” Pitt added.

Pitt and Jolie have three adopted children and one biological daughter. Pitt recently admitted they where ready for their fifth child, but did not say if they planned to adopt or have biologically.
