Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt send Maddox to $18,000-a-year private school

Hollywood couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have enrolled their adopted son Maddox in an $18,000-a-year private school in New York.

Angelina adopted Maddox from Cambodia, and is the couple's eldest son, began classes at the Lycee Francais de New York on the Upper East Side on Tuesday this week.

Angelina and Brad both accompanied Maddox, six, to the Manhattan campus - where lessons are all taught in French and based on France's curriculum - for Maddox's first day.

A source said: "They were just like normal parents."

Brad had an extra-special treat for his son after he finished his first day - he took him to see the New York Yankees' baseball game later that evening.

Brangelina and their children - Maddox, Zahara, Pax and 15-month-old biological daughter Shiloh - are all currently residing at Angelina's condo on the Upper West Side.
