Daniel Radcliffe to do Nude Performance in New York

British actor, and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe could be taking his famous nude performances in the London play ‘Equus’ to New York's Broadway next year. 18-year-old Radcliffe received glowing reviews for his role in the play, but said he is nervous about playing in New York.

Radcliffe, who starred as Harry Potter in the film adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s famous Harry Potter book series, said “It will be amazing, but I will be terrified because I was talking to Richard Griffiths about playing New York and he said the most stupid thing you can do is underestimate New York audiences,” Radcliffe said. Griffiths played Uncle Vernon in the Harry Potter movies and also appeared in Equus.

“I would be very nervous because I think that (the audiences are) even more discerning than in London. But I know we have a good show, it was a good show when we did it in London and hopefully if we do it again it will still be that good. It has to be better,” he added.

Radcliffe’s new movie ‘December Boys’ opens in the United States later this month. He is set to begin working on the sixth Harry Potter movie “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince” this month.
