David Beckham could be on the bench for rest of soccer season

It has been reported that British soccer star David Beckham might not get his chance to play for his new soccer team, the Los Angeles Galaxy for the rest of this season.
Beckham sustained an ankle injury while playing for Real Madrid. His ankle injury prevented him from playing in his debut game with Galaxy. A source said there’s a good chance he won’t be able to play the rest of the season because his injury is taking time to heal.
“He won’t recover until the end of the season. It’s an unfortunate situation for sure,” a source said.
“Even if [Beckham] were to recover, he would only be available to play 15 or 20 minutes of a 90 minute game. He would need a tremendous amount of training to get back into game form,” says ESPN soccer analyst Tommy Smyth.
Beckham moved to the Untied States this summer with his wife Victoria Beckham and their three sons. They currently live in a Los Angeles mansion and say they love America so much they will probably never moved back overseas.
Beckham’s rep confirms his injury is taking time to heal and says it is unclear when he will be able to play again. “It’s too early to determine exactly when he’ll be back, but at the moment he is undergoing daily treatment for his injury, and is progressing well,” his rep says.

That's really too bad to see
That's really too bad to see Beckham to out like that. I am a fan of him and the MLS and think he's done a lot for soccer in the US just by coming over here to play.
On a lighter note, I think it was Reggie Bush who hurt Becks leg after he burned him on this hitch and go!!! (jk)
