Owen Wilson's recent suicide attempt was not his first

Shocking new reports have surfaced about actor Owen Wilson’s recent suicide attempt. An unnamed family friend has come forward and claims that this attempt wasn’t Owen's first attempt to take his own life.

Wilson was found in his Santa Monica home with his wrists slashed on August 26th. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he spent a week recovering. He is now at home where he is being ‘watched closely’ by family and friends.

The source claims this is Wilson’s third suicide attempt. “A good portion of his life has been dedicated to fighting depression and addiction…This is the third time he’s tried killing himself,” the insider claims.

The source has also claimed that Owen Wilson did not attempt to take his life because of his breakup with actress Kate Hudson; it was because he let a friend down by not coming up with material for a movie.

“Owen felt demoralized after letting down his pal,” the source added.
