Britney Spears to make the biggest comeback ever, says Timbaland
Britney Spears could and will make the biggest comeback a pop star has ever dreamed of, according to music producer Timbaland - but he insists only if the 'Hit Me Baby One More Time' star reconnects with her family.
Reported by People.com, the producer started: "I would love Britney to have a smash, it would be the greatest comeback ever," the music producer told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Friday.
"I think it would be phenomenal," continued Timbaland, "but I think she's got to be connected with her family. She can't do it alone."
Comparing Spears, 25, to another famous singer, Timbaland added: "Sly can't come back on his own, he needs the family Stones. You need a team. You can't be an island."
"Britney's cool, but I think that ... it was too much," he says. "Now it's like, 'Okay, Britney's opening, she got a new song.' ...It's kinda dull. It's kinda flat-lined."
As for what he thinks of her new song, "Gimme More," he says: "I haven't heard it but everyone tells me, they just don't say nothing about it."

Gosh, the man talks so much
Gosh, the man talks so much about his relationship with Justin Timberlake it's borderline homosexual, in some senses. Timbaland is a talented producer, of course, but Future Sex/Love Sounds was an awkward listen and featured only a handful of hit potential singles. Plus his music is being recorded by so many people it's oversaturated nowadays. Don't get me wrong, I like some of his work (not HIS work, his recordings with others)...but Timbaland always seems to not quite mean anything he says. Funny, he says he hadn't heard Britney's "Gimme More" yet, although he says he thinks it's "kinda dull and kinda flat-lined." Dude needs to stop dissin' and start listening.
