Jodie Foster blames Lindsay Lohan's mother for her troubles

Actress Jodie Foster has blamed troubled actress Lindsay Lohan's mother for her recent problems.

Foster has claimed that Lohan's mother, Dina Lohan has not been a good Mom to Lindsay, who is currently being treated for drink and drug addiction at a Utah rehab facility.

Jodie Foster, a former child star herself, told Gotham magazine: "Can I just ask, where is her mother? I mean, really, where is her mother?"

The actress said that she is glad she isn't a young star in Hollywood today.

She added: "When I was their age, there were no big 18-year-old stars. Now, we want the 17-year-olds so we can bleed them for all they're worth and squeeze as much money as we possibly can out of them - and then their career will be over in something like three years."

Jodie is not the first person to criticize Dina's parenting skills, in August this year, Lindsay's father Michael claimed his ex-wife took cocaine.

Michael was reportedly furious with Dina for not allowing him access to their children and hit out in a vicious attack.

He said: "I'll give you a video tape of someone who told me, 'Michael, I know for a fact that Dina does cocaine because I delivered it to the house to her.' That's recently, about six months ago."

Michael also accused Dina of being involved in six DUI offenses for which she has never been caught by police.
