Nick Hogan stopped by police twice for speeding over 100 mph
The son of WWE wrestler Hulk Hogan, Nick Hogan, - also known as Nick Bollea, is reportedly being investigated for a car crash in Clearwater Florida that left his friend in critical condition. Excessive speed is believed to have been a factor in the crash, and authorities now say Hogan had a history of speeding.
Florida Highway Patrol says they stopped Hogan, son of star wrestler Hulk Hogan, twice in one day last year for driving over 100 mph on an interstate. The first time, Hogan was stopped for going 100 mph in a 70 mph zone. He got off on only a warning after he told the trooper he had a family emergency in Clearwater. The trooper asked another officer stationed down the road to watch for the 17-year-old.
The second trooper pulled Hogan over for going 115 mph in the 70-mph zone. He was given a $305.50 ticket, but final judgment in the case was withheld.
Police believe high speed was a factor in Hogan’s accident on August 26 and are investigating the case. Reports also say Hogan may have been racing another car at the time of the accident. The passenger, John Graziano, remains in critical condition.
