Amy Winehouse was 'robbed', says Blake Fielder Civil

Amy Winehouse's troubled husband, Blake Fielder-Civil has blasted bosses of the prestigious Mercury Music awards for not giving the award to Amy.

Winehouse performed at Tuesday's ceremony, but lost out on the $40,000 prize to British band 'Klaxons'

According to British newspaper The Sun, Blake said: "Amy was robbed. Who knows why they didn’t give her the award. But I was so proud of her for her performance."

This was Amy's first performance since she was rushed to hospital after an alleged drug overdose last month.

Blake added: “She’s really well and she doesn’t need to go back into rehab.

“We haven’t fallen out with Amy’s parents or mine for talking to the newspapers.

“They were concerned so said what they did.”
